The last tournament of 2011 is this Saturday. As per, Competitive is at Stad, while Super Rec A makes their return to Auburn and B plays at Halifax West. Check the Registrations page for more.

Please be reminded that the tournament will be starting at 9am sharp! So be there and be ready to play, and I’ll be the first to wish you a Merry Christmas!

Cost for the tournament is $100 per team and I’m taking 10 teams.

The second tournament of the year is already upon us, happening this Saturday. Competitive will be at Stad, Super Rec A will be at Auburn, and Super Rec B will be a Sackville High at 9am sharp. Directions can be found on the gym locations page, while the registered teams can be found on the registrations page. Competitive teams, please email Sophie (spitrear [at] dal [dot] ca)z with your team lists and have picture IDs when you arrive at the gym on Saturday morning.

Note that this tournament will be returning to the normal format, where Competitive will play superstar format, while Super Rec A and B will be playing Co-ed format.

While you are all no doubt recovering from the tournament yesterday, the CVNS executive has compiled a quick survey for players to take to help us improve the league. Basically, this will give us an idea on how to make the league more fun and/or exciting for the most important people, who are you, the players.

Found: Was a volleyball. If it’s yours (and it should be pretty easy to tell if it is or not), let me know and I’ll figure out a way to get it to you.

We do not have the scoresheets from the May tournament and cannot seem to figure out who has them. If you have them or know who might, please contact someone on the executive so that we can finalize the league standing from this year.

The registrations page and gym locations for the March tournament have been updated.

Note to Competitive teams, if you have any new players whose names have not yet been submitted to Sophie (Sophie [dot] Pitre-Arseneault [at] dfo-mpo [dot] gc [dot] ca) for play at Stad, please email her the names ASAP so she can have them added to the list and they will be able to play Saturday.

Note to Super Rec B teams, the gym is marked as TBA at the moment because we have a gym name, and a gym location, but they do not match up. Once this little problem is resolved (hopefully by Wednesday at noon), the location will be updated. Check the site again until the gym location is updated.
